Giving Web 2.0 a shot...

Given that many of our CIO's are discussing the educational relevance of blogs, wikis and any number of "Web 2.0" applications, I thought I'd take a stab at this myself. If all goes as planned, I'll use this site to document conversations I've had with local CIO's. Ideally, it will increase our collaboration with one another and maybe we'll use this as one forum to share our input on topics relevant to the K-12 CIO.

I attended the regional TIS meeting today and several useful items were brought up. I'll admit that I had no idea what a 'voki' was, so I may be looking to educate myself and create one. Tons of free Web 2.0 tools are mentioned at http://www.go2web20.net.

Wish me luck... Take care! JR

Welcome Jody. Be careful, Web 2.0 can be addictive.
